Early Retirement

As you all know, I have Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 6. If you didn't know, now you know. Today is Thurs. Jan, 6, 2011. 4 years ago, I was diagnosed with this disease. On Aug. 31, 2010, I was diagnosed as being "Medically Disabled". I have balance issues, and I walk like I'm drunk at times. I have no noticeable defects, and or mutations. It is all internal. So if you saw me, you wouldn't know that I was "Disabled".
Anyways, on Sept. 27, 2010 I was FIRED! I was told that I was too slow, and it was too slow to keep me. I did what I could do, and I did the job safely so I didn't hurt myself. Not good enough. BUT, it's all good! Things happen for a reason! I believe that anyways. I am not looking for sympathy, and trust me, I am perfectly fine with this.
Where am I leading to with this?? Well let me tell you! I am not scared that I am unemployed, or lost my JOB. True, I am able to collect disability. But I have my own business! When I was at my JOB, I only had minimal time to do what I love to do best. Now I have all the time in the world to help others to become healthier and more fit! Along with keeping myself healthier and more fit! And you know what?? I LOVE IT! I am finally doing what I love to do! I am finally happy! I am finally #LML (Loving My Life)! I am MY OWN BOSS!!! I have only been in the business for 9 months, but that's where I have so much room to grow! This is where the Decide, Commit and Succeed comes in for me. I have lost my JOB, so I have Decided to make my business my full time business. I have Committed to make my business grow, and dedicated myself to help others to become healthy and fit. I have Committed to help reverse the trend of Obesity in America. And I WILL Succeed!! Plus I get to meet awesome people around the U.S.!! And I have definitely met some awesome people!
I'm sure you have read my story "I Can Jump". Not only that I can jump.. but I am keeping myself healthy and more fit as well!! It may have taken me 48 years to get here, but I am here! I am happy! And I am ready to help you!! True, I could take this in the other direction and feel sorry for myself, and mope around, and feel like a failure.... BUT WHY?? That's why I said that, things happen for a reason, and the reason is for me to help YOU to become healthier and more fit!! I'm here and I am ready to take this another degree higher... another step up... and make a difference in my life as well as YOURS!!
