Modify and Pacing

OK, lately I've been hearing a lot of people saying, "I can't keep up with the DVDs", "I can't do that many Push-Ups" .... Folks, let me tell you.... You do NOT have to keep up with the DVDs, and you do NOT have to do as many of any exercises that they do in the workouts! The DVDs are there to show you what to do and a few ways to do it! Do what you can do, and pace yourself! Keep track of your progress, write it down. log how much you did, what weight you used, or what band you used. As much as I have been working out, going to the gym, paddling.... I still could not keep up with the DVD! And when you have to, Modify your exercises! I do! And it's just as effective! Tony himself even tells you to push pause if you have to! When you're ready, they'll be right where you left off! Eventually you will be able to keep up with everyone, do as many exercises as everyone! Don't get discouraged and quit because you can't do it, or keep up! Do what you can do and pace yourself!!!! And have fun doing it!! Listen to your body as well. If you feel a cold coming on, or you're not feeling well.... REST!! Don't try to kill yourself! That is why you have the workout program! Yes, true,  you want to keep on track, and complete the workouts as suggested, BUT, sometimes you aren't able to do so. It happens! No Worries! Continue on the next available time possible! If you miss more then a couple of days, chillax! Redo those days when possible!
You have the workout program, You've committed to reach a goal, Do it! And do it at your own pace! It is your program! Modify, Pace, Pause, You'll love it even more!!! Then when you reach your goal... It will be well worth it!!!
I myself, I do P90X, Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs.... I mix it up! And yes, you can mix it up!! And like I said, I modify a lot! But it works!! Please, don't get your workout program, throw in the DVD. try to keep up with it, and then give up because it's too hard!! NO!!!!! I will repeat it one final time.... Do what you can do and pace yourself!!!

Nice! I always have to modify p90x.. haha! :) Getting stronger though..
