Time and Money

OK ... I have been an Independent Beachbody Coach for a year now, and I have seen a lot, learned a lot, and went through a lot up until this point. The biggest things I have heard, all through my adventure, is people not having the time or money to take care of their health and fitness needs. Yet, I see a lot of people playing games on Facebook, paying for a gym membership and saying they need to go but don't go, going out to fast food joints and then saying they're so fat. Now I'm not talking about anyone in particular. These are things I see, read, and or hear. Well let me just tell you, if you say you don't have the time to workout, I can suggest a workout that you can do that only takes 10 minutes! That's right, 10 minutes a day! And if you're paying for a gym membership that you use like maybe once or twice a week, I can suggest a full workout program that will cost probably less than 3 - 4 months of your gym membership! A one time payment! And you can do it without leaving your home! And with less equipments than the gym! And on your time! With a whole lot of support, motivation and accountability! And it is very effective!! As with the fast food meals, I can suggest something that will cost less than a meal - per serving, but yet still have a whole lot more nutrients and vitamins and then some! And can replace a meal itself!
We do have the time to become healthier and more fit! We can make a change in our lives to become healthier and more fit!
let me ask you ... is Farmville, Mafia Wars, Cafe World that important to you?? Are they going to take care of you when your health withers, spoils, or gets robbed of the care?? Will the gyms take care of you after all that money you put into them? Will the fast food joints help you get more fit, or lose weight after you pay them for the meals they serve you? I don't think so! You can go back into the games and get new life, new dishes, new crops. But you can't just go back and get a new health! This is Life! This is Reality! You have to take care of you! Now! Do something!
I will repeat myself once again... I have Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 6 (SCA6). It is a rare, late-onset, autosomal dominant disorder, which, like other types of SCA, is characterized by dysarthria, oculomotor disorders, incontinence, peripheral neuropathy, and ataxia of gait, stance and the limbs due to cerebellar dysfunction. I have balance issues, I walk funny, I have a slurred speech, and it is progressive and non-curable. But I don't let it get in the way of keeping myself healthy and fit! I walk, I paddle, I workout, I go dancing. I am currently Unemployed. I cannot do the type of work I did before. I can go on and on... But I have and do the one thing many do not do... COMMIT!! What is so hard to commit to bettering your health and fitness levels? You can do it! You have the time! And with a little budgeting, you have the money! All you have to do is Commit! And trust me, once you commit, you won't regret it! Make some time for your health and fitness! Like I said, 10 minutes to an hour! That's it!! If you're going to invest in anything, invest in you and your health! I do, and I think I am in pretty good shape and pretty healthy!
I apologize if I offended anyone, but I'm just being real! I'm just voicing my opinion. Because I know if I can do it... ANYONE can!! Majority of you are healthier than me. You don't have my condition. So take care of you! it's not too late! Do something!
